Bring-up Garage
A lab bench late at night: an oscilloscope with glowing traces, probes on a small green circuit board, a thin curl of smoke rising from a chip.

Garage

Real circuits. Real physics. Very bad startup ideas. You are Employee #2 in a garage incubator in Phoenix, and every prototype in the house is broken.

Development is going great. Mostly. Here is the official progress, approved by Purchasing.

Tickets in the queue

Each case is a broken board with one fault hidden somewhere. You get a ticket, a bench and a par. The rest is measuring.

DuckRadar

“Since the new batch, the radar sees targets at 11, 22 and 33 metres. Our room is 14 metres long.”

Ghosts in perfect steps. Purchasing swapped a power chip for one that is “pin compatible”. Find the frequency that should not be there.

Ring laser gyro on a rotary table in 3D, next to the ticket textCASE 003 · GYRO

The planet is rotating

“Gyro #7 sits still on the table and still reads 11.3 °/h. The others show 8.3 °/h. Broken?”

In Phoenix the Earth turns at 8.3 °/h under your feet, and a good gyro sees it. Two positions, one wrong resistor, a lot of patience.

SmartSock

“Shaker at 20 Hz, 0.5 g: X and Y follow, Z barely moves.”

Bluetooth socks that know when one is missing. Unless the Z axis is asleep. One capacitor, ten times too big.

Hold my cartridge

“Need it to jump. By Tuesday. Budget is not a concern.” – Atlas, 3:07 a.m.

The filter thought the car was tilted, the GPS antenna sat under a steel cartridge, and the street learned what “nose first” means.

The bench

No menus with fake buttons. A lab supply with real knobs, a four-channel scope, a multimeter, a debugger, a USB-serial adapter and a logic analyzer. Every reading comes from data-sheet models of the actual parts.

Investor FAQ

Answered by our founder and Chief Visionary, Randy.

When does it launch?Tuesday.– Randy, every week
Do I need to know electronics? No. You need a multimeter and the courage to use it. The game teaches the rest, one smoky mistake at a time.– Randy
Is the physics real?Yes. Regulators, sensors and their failure modes come from real data sheets. The startup ideas are, unfortunately, also real.– Employee #2
Is it safe?Trust me. This is the future.– Randy

For hardware teams

The same simulator, with your boards in it.

Train bring-up on your own hardware

We turn your schematics and layouts into interactive training and review cases: the real board, the real parts, faults you have actually seen in production. New engineers learn to measure before they touch a prototype. Experienced ones get a shared language for “what went wrong”.

For NPI, hardware validation and test teams, universities and training centres.
